Where the information comes from, how it is checked, and the line we never cross. Plain language, evidence first — and nobody here pretending to be your doctor.
Every clinical figure, trial result, and percentage in our books and guides is traced back to the source it came from — the published clinical trial, the peer-reviewed journal article, or the regulator's own documentation — and then rewritten in plain language. We read the primary research, not the headlines about it.
When the evidence is strong, we say so. When it is early, mixed, or based on small or short studies, we say that too, instead of rounding a maybe up into a promise. Investigational treatments are labelled as investigational. We would rather tell you "we don't know yet" than sell you a certainty that does not exist — because the whole point of this studio is that you can trust what is on the page.
Morgan Reed Studio is a small independent publisher, not a clinic. We write as an informed peer who has read the research closely — not as your physician — and we do not claim medical credentials, because the value here is careful, honest explanation, not authority. Anyone can wave a title at you; far fewer will show their work and admit what is still unknown.
Nothing we publish diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents anything, and nothing here replaces advice from a professional who knows your history. Think of our guides as the briefing you wish you had time for before an appointment: enough plain-language context to ask sharper questions and understand the answers.
Some of our GLP-1 material discusses medications, including retatrutide, which at the time of writing is still investigational and not approved by the FDA. We explain what the trials have actually shown and flag clearly what remains unknown. We never provide dosing, sourcing, or instructions to start, stop, or change any medication — those decisions belong to you and the prescriber who knows your history.
Research moves. When new evidence changes the picture, we update the affected guide and note what changed rather than quietly leaving old numbers in place. If you spot something that looks wrong, we want to know — the quickest way to reach us is a reply to any Morgan Reed Studio newsletter email, or a message through our Etsy shop.
